Deserts and forest seems like two totally different environment but they can be alike in many ways. Deserts makes up one fifth of the world and it can be classified in four ways; hot and dry, semiarid, coastal, and cold. The forest can be classified into tropical, temperate, and boreal forests. The dessert is usually dry for most of the year, but during the winter is the only time where it gets rainfall. However forest gets rainfall most of the year and also have a lot of sunshine. In the forest has the most diversity for animals, however in the desert there are barely any mammals due to the lack of water. All the animals and plants in the forest and desert needs water to survive. Therefore even with little rainfall animals and plants are still able to survive.
