I don't think parents should be able to pick their babies' traits. Babies should resemble their parents, they should be a combination of the parent's traits. Picking the babies' traits is pretty much taking traits from other people and putting it in the baby, therefore, the characteristics of the baby is somewhat "fake" and "unreal". The parents should just let nature work it's magic and have the baby turn out to be a natural combination of the both parents.
